Synopsis

𝑽𝒊𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒅𝒊 𝒆𝒕 𝒎𝒐𝒊 s’attache au parcours d’une jeune violoniste prodige, dont la vie va être bouleversée grâce à l’enseignement prodigué par le grand compositeur vénitien. Inspiré du roman Stabat Mater de Tiziano Scarpa, le scénario retrace le parcours de Cecilia, une orpheline de 20 ans confinée depuis son enfance à l’Orphelinat della Pietà.

Seul un mariage lui permettrait de quitter le plus grand orphelinat de Venise. Mais la rencontre, au début du XVIIe siècle, de cette jeune virtuose du violon avec un nouveau professeur, le célèbre « Prêtre roux », va lui permettre de « défier un triste destin qui semblait pourtant inévitable ».
